我院赴美訪學教師參加美國AEJMC2015年年會並作報告

2015年8月6日至8日，美國全美新聞和大眾傳播教育學會（AEJMC）2015年年會在舊金山馬奎斯萬豪酒店舉行。我院四位赴美訪學教師在特聘教授董慶文博士的帶領和指導下赴舊金山參會。邵寶輝副教授與董慶文教授聯合向會議提交了《 An Exploratory Study on Journalistic Professionalism and Journalism Education in Contemporary China.》的論文，並在6日下午發言。其他三位訪學教師一並參加了學術會議，並參與了部分學術討論。會議期間，訪學教師還參加了會議附設的美國新聞傳播學專業圖書展會，了解了美國新聞傳播學教材出版和學術出版的相關情況，並就一些專業議題與參展書商展開了交流。8日晚，訪學教師與董慶文教授一起參加了由中國教育部和中國傳媒大學聯合主辦的赴華留學項目推介會，並參加了招待會，席間與來自中國和美國的新聞傳播學專家學者們就新聞傳播的教學和研究開展了更為深層次的交流。

這也是2015年3月份赴美以來，四位訪學教師繼6月份ASPAC之後參加的又一項高級別學術會議。

The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) is a nonprofit organization of more than 3,700 educators, students and practitioners from around the globe. Founded in 1912, by Willard Grosvenor Bleyer, the first president (1912-13) of the American Association of Teachers of Journalism, as it was then known, AEJMC is the oldest and largest alliance of journalism and mass communication educators and administrators at the college level.

AEJMC’s mission is to promote the highest possible standards for journalism and mass communication education, to encourage the widest possible range of communication research, to encourage the implementation of a multi-cultural society in the classroom and curriculum, and to defend and maintain freedom of communication in an effort to achieve better professional practice, a better informed public, and wider human understanding.

AEJMC holds an annual conference in August, featuring sessions on teaching, research and public service in the various components of journalism and mass communication — from advertising and public relations to electronic and online journalism to media management and newspapers. Pre-convention workshops deal with teaching advertising, media ethics issues, incorporating diversity in the curriculum, teaching media management, and teaching visual communication.
